The Human Behind the Therapist

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years telling people’s stories for outlets like Business Insider, Vice, and Teen Vogue. What I learned is simple: healing begins when someone finally feels seen and understood.

Who I Work Best With

I support teens and adults navigating:

  • Identity shifts and “Who am I?” moments

  • Anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm

  • Perfectionism and burnout

  • Complicated or draining relationships

  • Feeling disconnected or alone

  • Creative blocks and pressure

How I Work

I blend evidence-based tools (EMDR training, CBT, DBT) with mindfulness and a grounded, practical style. My journalism background taught me to listen closely; my therapy training taught me how to help people create real change.
I see you as a whole person—not something to “fix,” but someone with strengths we can tap into and build on.
